Doris Lai Ngor Choi Lui

Doris is survived by her two children and their spouses: Alice Vongkhamchanh (Jake), Alan Choi (Nancy) and five grandchildren: Tyler, Kyle, Annah, Naiden and Alayna.

Born in Canton China, 3rd oldest child with 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Lei Wai Queng, Louie Lai Shem, Amy Lui, Lui Lai Fong, Tommy Louie, Alan Louie and

Joe Louie.

Her interests included organizing, gardening, visits to the local casinos and spending time with her loved ones. Initially immigrated to the US as a seamstress, to later study nursing and accounting to provide a better future for her family. After retirement, she enjoyed taking care of her 5 grandchildren, and during her off time, traveling to new countries with her friends and family.

With Ricky’s passing in 2019, Doris had to quickly learn how to live independently from; learning how to drive again, filling gas, using a debit card and so much more after the passing of a life-long partner. We are so proud of her.
