Dolores H Friel

Dolores H. Friel (nee Boose), 93, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2022 in Bellevue, WA. She was born on July 15, 1929 in Philadelphia and graduated from Olney High School. Dolores spent most of her adult life in Marlton, NJ, raising her four children. A beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Dolores was known for her hard work, hospitality, good humor, and dedication to family. Her children and grandchildren were the focus of her life. She was always there to provide whatever was needed, whether it was traveling cross-country to be the last-minute baby-sitter or providing the perfect words of encouragement or support. She will be deeply missed by many.

Dolores is survived by her sister Lucy Bangham of Easthampton MA; her children, Thomas C. Friel, Jr. of St. Johns, FL, Robert Friel (Rusty) of Westwood, MA, and Patricia Friel of Kirkland, WA. Dolores was a loving grandmother to T.C. (Melissa), Patrick, Amy, and Caitlin Friel, Andrew and Diane Halcoussis, Katherine and Olivia Cosentino, and great grandchildren Archer and Matilda Friel. She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas C. Friel, Sr.; her daughter, Kathleen Cosentino (Michael); and brothers, Gordon “Bud” Boose and Robert Boose.

A private family service is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dolores’ name may be given to the Alzheimer's Association at https://www.alz.org/?form=alz_donate.
