Aziz was born on September 27, 1928 in Shiraz, Iran. He moved to Tehran when he was 17 and later entered the Iranian Air Force. His service in the Air Force took him to live in several cities in Iran as well as many cities in the US and Europe. He was a highly regarded officer and retired in 1978 after serving for over 30 years and moved to Seattle to join the rest of his family. He was a devoted husband and a loving father. A family man and an avid social networker, he was loved by family and friends, old and young. He will be forever missed.
Aziz leaves behind his wife of 70 years, Belgheis, his daughter, Manijeh, his son, Bijan (Kimia), his grandchildren, Hamid Sarshar (Kim), Sheedeh Dorri, Tonya Gray (Shawn), Veeda Dorri (Jeff Dore), and great grandchildren Roxy, Oakley, Roya, and Molly.
Aziz passed away peacefully on November 24, 2018 at his house with family at his side.
