Mr. Willman was the owner and operator of A.D.A., Inc. Security Services in Belleville, Illinois for over thirty years after retiring from a twenty year over-the-road truck driving career. Prior to his truck driving career, he spent time driving local truck routes, working for the railroad, and serving in the United States Armed Forces for two years of active duty beginning in 1954.
Among his passions in life, Mr. Willman was a gifted artist and active member of the Gateway East Artist Guild in Belleville, Illinois, as well as an avid photographer. Other hobbies of his included: flying airplanes, horseback riding, and spending time with and training his many beloved dogs.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Elmer and Alva, nee Freivogel, Willman.
Surviving him are his loving and devoted wife, Ruth M. Willman, nee Tribout; children, Steven (Diane) Thompson and Brock Willman; grandchildren, Steven (Carla) Thompson II, Anthony (Amanda) Ballard, Nancy Thompson, Kyle Thompson, Tyler Willman and Aaron Willman; great grandchildren, Abby Ballard and Haylee Ballard.
