He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, E. Kay Terry, and one sister, Mona Rae (Terry) Lloyd and her husband Cletus, and one brother, Robert Louis Terry.
Bill is survived by step-children, Jeffrey (Cheri) Edmonds of Freeburg, Illinois, Kimberly (Leonard) Sinn of Lenzburg, Illinois, and Michelle (Kat) Edmonds of Troy, Missouri; sisters, Donna (Allen) Sprague of Marissa, Illinois, Fredricka (Jerry) Franklin of Baldwin, Illinois, Christy Lynn (Ron) Asher of Vero Beach, Florida, one brother, Walter (Cassie) Terry of Marissa, Illinois, a very dear friend and significant other, Midge Rothwell of Tilden, Illinois. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren.
Bill had served valiantly in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion in Marissa, Illinois. He was also a member of the Marissa Masonic Lodge #881 for 31 years. He was an active Shriner for several years with Ainad Color Guard. Bill loved to play golf and shoot pool.
Bill worked at Wirco Castings, Inc. for many years. He then became a Custodian for Marissa Jr. and Sr. High School. When he retired, he worked part-time for the Freeburg Care Center as a Maintenance Man.
Memorial Gathering will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Tilden, Illinois.
Memorial Service will start at 11:00 am at the church.
Interment will take place following service at Darmstadt Memorial Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Darmstadt Memorial Cemetery, Shriners Hospital, or First Baptist Church of Tilden.
