We will certainly miss Bill.  The world is dimmer without him and we are better for having known him.  We had some great times over the years.  His family is in our thoughts and prayers.  Davenport Family in Worland, WY

Susan and family, I was so saddened to learn of Bill's passing What a good man he was.  I will cherish my conversations with him about the Bronco's. And will never forget how he took time out to call me from Coor's Field opening day and bringing me home treasures from the game. My dear Susan, I am so very sorry to learn of Bill's passing. Bill contributed so much to our church.
He was a valuable member of my adult Sunday School Class. His comments were measured and logical in our class discussions, always showing new ways to examine complex issues.
He was a valuable member of our Christian Education Committee. He helped me out immeasurably when I was the chairman, mentoring me in ways to conduct our meetings as efficiently and effectively as possible. He took over the chairmanship when I was doing Unto These Hills in Cherokee in the summer of 2007.
He was a good Christian model for me. Bill possessed many traits that I need to hone in my daily walk: never impetuous, superb listening skills, and, above all, as I saw him, never judgmental.
Know that you and your family in the prayers and thoughts of those of us in your Ocean Springs church family.

Mom (Sally Wilson) and I send our love and prayers to your family. I know Dad (Rev Wilson) was waiting to greet him with a big smile on his face. Mom and Dad loved and had the utmost fondness for Bill. When I moved down to the coast I remember Bill as being one person that always made me feel welcomed. He always said a good morning to me even after we lost Dad. Our Prayers are with you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Bill was a beautiful person, and I am thankful for getting the honor of knowing you both at First Presbyterian Church, Ocean Springs Mississippi.  Rejoice at his presence with the Lord!  Hallelujah!

Our condolences go out to the Foster Family.   Rev. Foster officiated at our wedding in 2008 at Ocean Springs Presbyterian.  Beth and I remember the great job he did throughout the process, and the genuine care which he exhibited.

May the Foster Family and friends find comfort in knowing that God is with all of you at this time.  Rev. Foster is free from any discomfort, and suffering, and the Host of Heaven has welcomed him for eternity.  The prayers of Cote Brilliante Presbyterian are with all of you.

I warmly remember a gathering of pastors from the East side of the Mississippi where only three of us were able to come.  Since I had served in a church in Utah

I remember when Bill was one of our pastors and then when we were both stated clerks in different presbyteries.  He always remembered my name no matter how long it was between visits.

To the Foster Family --- 
   Surprises like this do not come comfortably as part of my Presbytery News.  I remember with fondness and warm memories shared times at McCormick Seminary, First Church Oak Park, Illinois and an interview in Wyoming.  Bill's joy and humor was so much a part of him!
   Living at opposite ends of the Presbytery did not give us much opportunity to renew old friendships.  For that I am sorry.
   May the richness of the Holy Spirit sustain all your family now and in the days ahead.
