Thomas W. Sheridan

Thomas was retired from P.I.E. Trucking Company with 20 years of service and Middlewest Freight Company for 12 years. He attended Marissa High School, Marissa, Illinois and was a Member of the Teamsters Local 618 and the Millstadt Commercial Club.

Thomas was preceded in death by his Daughter, Barbara Jean Sheridan; parents, John and Martha Jane, nee Todd, Sheridan; Siblings, Robert Sheridan, Jack Sheridan, Otto Sheridan, James Sheridan, Phillip Sheridan, Ellen Powers, Doris Terry, Virginia Calvert, Katherine Sheridan and Mary Sheridan.

Surviving are his loving wife Roberta Gene, nee Prediger, Sheridan who he married on October 12, 1949 in East St. Louis, Illinois; sons, Wayne (Vickie) Sheridan of St. Charles, Missouri and Mikol Sheridan of St. Charles, Missouri; granddaughter, Sarah (Dennis) Harper of Columbia, Missouri; great grandson, Isaac Paul Harper; sister Margaret Hasting of Belleville, Illinois, Also, survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends Charlie (Denise) Meyer and their children, Erika and Harrison Meyer.

Visitation: Friends of the family may call from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday, May 13, 2011 at the Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois

Service: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Harper officiating.

Interment will follow services in the Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
