Mr. Mabry was an Independent Insurance agent for 45 years; a member of Grace Church in Fairview Heights, IL; and an exceptional husband, father and grandfather. He was very instrumental in building the Belleville West End Khoury League Park, which he served as President for several years as well as managing a team for 7 years. Tom was an avid golfer, achieving 3 hole-in-ones during his lifetime! He was also a member and past-president of the Illinois Bass Anglers Assn. for over 20 years during which time he won many fishing tournaments. Mr. Mabry was a former Alderman and Precinct committeeman for the city of Belleville and a founding Board Member of LINC (Living Independently Now Center). Tom was a talented artist, an AVID Cardinal fan, a member of the Hardee’s Boys, and loved to play Pinochle at Tim & Joes. More than anything else, he will always be remembered as someone who was willing to help anybody with anything at any time.
Mr. Mabry was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Marguerite, nee Anderson, Mabry; a daughter, Janet L. Mabry; a sister, Joan Bovinette; a brother-in-law, Robert Daugherty; a sister-in-law, Virginia Eilers; a niece, Lynn Rokita; and a nephew, Tom Eilers.
He is survived by his wife of 56 and one-half years, Ruth, nee Daugherty, Mabry; a daughter, Karen (Michael) Saylor, of Highland, IL; a son, Michael (Mary Sue) Mabry of Fairmont, WV; 4 grandchildren, Michelle and Tom Mabry, and Jake and Tori Cook; a sister, Sharon (Jim) Rokita, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Hal Santos officiating. Interment will follow in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville.
