Shirley was a truly loving woman, who would do anything for anyone in their time of need. After the 8th grade, Shirley joined the work force to help her family—she was able to do so much for them. Shirley was a woman who loved many things, but especially playing (and winning!) bingo, solitaire, and other games; and was a craft lady, skilled and imaginative enough to make her own jewelry. Shirley also loved to polka, and dancing with her children.
Shirley is preceded in death by: her parents, Walter and Adele Stitzel, and George John; beloved husband, Newman Cordell Snyder Sr. [d. 1990]; siblings, Wilbert Stitzel, Arlene Mae Stitzel ;son-in-laws, Fred Guettermann, and Charlie Guettermann; children, Teresa Marie Snyder [d. at birth], Newman Cordell Snyder Jr [d. 2017]; son-in-law, Lee S. Rogers [d. 2000]; a grandchild lost in infancy [d. 1985]; great-grandchildren, Sofya Rayne Gildersleeve [d. 2005]; and very close friend, Elsa Wisneski.
