Harry, it's been many years but I remember you as a friend at CHS. Yours is a grief I can relate to.

I remember Sheri very well as a fellow classmate at Cahokia HS, class of 1961.  Her very presence exuded kindness and caring.  Although it has been 50 years, I will always remember her radiant smile, sparkling eyes and gentle, caring spirit.  Am sending prayers to the entire Rayfield family that your memories comfort you in your great loss.

Dear Rayfield family I am so sorry to hear of Sheri's passing.  I had the pleasures of working with her at the courthouse.  Always Sheri had a smile on her face and never a cruel word to say.   She taught me that there are geneology records in the criminal records that go way back to people coming to Illinois in wagons.  She knew everything about the clerk's office.  I will truly miss Sheri.

Dinner on the landing as the 22 inch snowfall began, charred steaks and a ride up Piasa Creek in a cruiser that could barely turn around, dancing at Chavala's Phase III - these are just some of the memories I have of Sheri.  Please accept my sincerest sympathy on her passing.  Sheri was so sweet, kind, fun-loving, and generous.  I know she will be missed, but I pray that God will surround you all with His love and give you comfort and peace as you go through this difficult time.  May the hole in your hearts be filled to overflowing with memories of the love, joy and happiness Sheri brought to so many.  Good Bye Sweet Friend.

I am so sorry to hear of Sheri's passing.   We met several years ago when I first started doing background checks/investigations in Belleville.  I was new at my job and needed a lot of "tutoring".     She helped me so much and I will never forget her for her kindness.

I remember Sheri fondly from my days working in the courthouse . When I left for federal service I called upon her many times to check criminal histories or to get certified copies of convictions . Time was usually of essence and Sheri was always responsive . I always knew I could depend on her
