Ronald retired from At&t and Ralston Purina, where he worked as a systems analyst. He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Caseyville, Illinois. He enjoyed flying and building R/C airplanes. He was a member of the Midwest Air Wing R/C Club. He was an avid car enthusiast, building “kit cars”. He was also a member of Gateway Car Club of America. He was an avid fan of Cardinal’s baseball, sailing, and playing the guitar. He was a loving family man, who will truly be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Forrest G. Crawford; his mother and step-father, Lucille, nee Shannon, and Robert Morgan; his sister, Sandy Cruce, and his father and mother-in-law, Emory and Norma Kollmeyer.
Surviving are his loving wife, of 45 years, Linda M. Crawford, nee Kollmeyer, of Collinsville, Illinois, his daughters, Suzanne (Brian Hayden) Crawford, of Collinsville, Illinois and Danielle (Jason) Askew, of Troy, Illinois; his grandchildren, Chelsey (Eric) Wendt, Kody Schardan, McKenna Askew, and Brynlee Askew; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 11 a..m., Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the funeral home, with Pastor Jonathan Winterfeldt officiating. Interment will follow in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
