She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Stroup and Earline Stroup (nee Dickerson) and son, Thomas Gene Taylor.
Priscilla attended Cahokia High School. In 1976, she graduated from Winona State College in Minnesota with a degree in Sociology. She married Perry Thomas Taylor April 13, 1957. They later divorced.
She was a member of two Red Hat Societies and had so much fun with her ladies. Having many travels and lived in several states including, Illinois, Missouri, New York, Minnesota and Michigan. She enjoyed entertaining and cooking for everyone and anyone who was hungry. She made the best chicken and dumplings and fried chicken you ever ate.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Cathy Ann Taylor, Mark David Taylor, Linda Rae Taylor, Alec (Jennifer) Prescott Taylor; daughter-in-law, Lisa Taylor; sister, Penny Lopez; brother, Erskine (Diane) Lee Stroup; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she loved so much.
