Melanie Montalvo-Joellenbeck

Melanie worked for 33 years as an Office Manager at Industrial Marketing, Inc. (Slay Industries). She was a member of Faith Family Church. Some of her loves were traveling, the St. Louis Cardinals, ice cream, candy and desserts. Mel was a very courageous woman who battled cancer for 12 years. She will forever be remembered as a very loving and generous person who was a friend to all.

Ms. Montalvo was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Melania, nee Laguna, Montalvo.

She is survived by her daughter, Olivia Joellenbeck; a brother, Steven A. Montalvo of Puerto Rico; two sisters, Victoria (Victor) Goicoechea of Belton, MO and Bonita Underwood of Belleville, IL; a niece, Angela (Sean) Conner; a great-niece, Serena Conner; and a great-nephew, Charles Conner of Lawrence, KS.

Services: A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Hinrichs officiating.
