Linda Gail Whitworth

She was born on January 22, 1947 in East St. Louis the daughter of the late Roy and Daisy (Herron) Price.

Linda married Horace Whitworth in Belleville. He preceded her in death in 1990.

She was a self-employed baker who had a small restaurant in Hillview, IL for several years. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to casinos, painting, watching old tv shows, anything to do with animals, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great nieces and nephews. She was a former member of Abundant Love Fellowship Church in Cahokia.

She is survived by 2 sons Don Jr (Mary) Barfield of Winchester, IL and Derrin (Beverly) Barfield of Jacksonville, IL; daughter Dawn (Lonnie) Crum of Roodhouse, IL; seven grandchildren Megan (Nate) Davis, Maura Barfield, Larissa Crum, Logan (Sarah) Crum, Christina Ralston, Jennifer (Matt) Connelly, and Matthew Warsaw; sister Sharon Provow; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family who will miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Donna Fey.

Visitation will be held on from 12 pm until the time of funeral service at 2 pm at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.

Burial will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
