Linda Jeanette Greive (nee Lands), 67, born January 13, 1952 in East St. Louis, IL passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2019 in Granite City, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Donald Lands, and Norma Frances Bourisaw; and brother, Richard (Deborah) Lands.
Linda is survived by her husband, Marcus Greive; two children, Jason Greive, and Christina (Frank) Ortwerth; grandchildren, Joel and Carrissa Orthwerth; sisters, Brenda (Daniel) Penzel, and Joyce Boyd; and long time friends, Tom Tangaran and Edwin Scott.
Linda enjoyed sewing,and animals of all kinds-- but especially her cat, Lily. Caring for her family and those she loved was not only something she did in her personal life, but professionally as a homemaker with DCFS. Her warm heart, giving spirit, and generous soul will never be forgotten, as well as the impact she had on the lives of all who we're lucky enough to know her.
