Mr. Wade was a United States Navy Veteran, serving as a 3rd Class Petty Officer during the Korean Conflict. He was a SEABEE. Mr. Wade was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Belleville, Ill., and the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 520. Langley was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed being outdoors and staying active. He loved playing a round of golf.
Mr. Wade is preceded in death by his parents, Langley E. and Mary M. Wade, nee Brown.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Betty L. Wade, nee Nadolski; children, Joyce A. Dierkes and Mark A. Wade; grandchildren, Mark A. Wade Jr., A.J. Wade, Jason (Angela) Dierkes, Jennifer (Ryan) Alstat, and Julie (Daniel) Smith; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Ann Kane and Shirley Cockrell.

Funeral Service: Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m., Friday, July 15, 2011 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, 5315 West Main Street, Belleville, Ill. 62226 with Father York officiating. Interment will follow services at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill.
