After graduating from BTHS, she worked as a legal secretary for over 50 years. She was active in both Mothers Clubs and PTA’s of Henry Raab and Central Junior High Schools; she had many hobbies and always enjoyed decorating their home for the different seasons. She loved to go dancing and loved going out to eat with her “Forever Friends.” She also dearly loved spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Edwin and Anita (Schrader) Frischkorn; her loving husband, Robert Martin; her brother, Orville Frischkorn; sister-in-law, Shirley Frischkorn, her brother-in-law, Paul Seelman; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elmer and Vera Martin and brothers-in-law, William Martin and Ray Martin.
She was a lovely wife, a caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Those who will cherish her memory are: daughter, Terri (Don) Maher; son, Scott (Jennifer) Martin; granddaughter, Kristin (Lee) Holloway; grandson, Robert (Erica) Tarr; grandsons, Tanner and Matthew (Marie) Martin; granddaughters, Lauren and Courtney Martin; great-grandson, Finn Holloway; great-granddaughters, Makalya Tarr and Athena Tarr,; sister, Erlene Seelman; nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Wednesday, June 30th, 2021 at Valhalla Gaerdner-Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

Burial will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
