Josh was a member of St. Clair County Bank Pool League and Belleville 8-ball League. He enjoyed camping, water sports and riding motorcycles. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his precious son Jaxon.
Josh is preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Schmidt; brother, Geoffrey R. Schmidt; and aunt, Karen Ripley.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son Jaxon, love of his life and mother of his child, Jonte Bahr; step daughter, Helena Bahr; parents, Geoff Schmidt and Tracey (Craig) Heimburger; grandparents, Patricia Schmidt, Robert Meehling and Sharon Murphy; sisters, Aimi (Jim) Hoffarth and Ashley (Bobby) Weidler; step-sisters, Jennifer Webb and Jessica (Daniel) Mull; uncle, Tom Ripley; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
