John was born on January 9, 1933 in St. Louis, MO to the late, John William Thompson and Florence Goetz.
He married the love of his life, Anna Mae Smith on September 21, 1954 and unto that union, 4 children were born.
John leaves to cherish his precious memories, son, William L. Thompson of Indiana; daughters, Florence Thompson of Belleville and Edna Thompson of Texas; 11 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
John is preceded in death by his parents, wife; son, John F. Thompson Jr; aunt, Florence Forensic and brother, Leroy Thompson.
At John’s request, there will be no services.
