John Robert Kessler, 63, of Belleville passed away on March 5, 2023 at Four Fountains Nursing Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Anita (nee Perschbacher) Kessler; and a sister, Jeanine Eckenrode.
John is survived by his sisters, Susan (Ed) Frentzel, Helen (John) Vidmar, and Ann (Mike) Lossau; his aunt, Marilyn (Wayne) Feig; nieces, Stephanie, Trina, Catherine, and nephew, Adam.
John was a graduate of Freeburg High School and Ranken Technical College. He was raised on a working farm and developed a strong sense of responsibility and work ethic. His kind heart and spirit will be missed.
Friends are invited to attend his graveside service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, 3412 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville, IL where he will be laid to rest near family.
