Helen Marie Summers

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mildred Poole and her husband, Donald Summers. She is survived by her son, Tony Summers; granddaughters, Kate, Megan, and Hanna; great granddaughter, Sunnie Edwards; brothers, Roger (Rosalie “Sug”) Poole and Richard (Sue) Poole; and dear companion, Charles Summers. She was a devoted aunt, cousin, and friend of many.

Helen "Gram" dedicated her life to her beautiful granddaughters. She enjoyed traveling with her best friend, Brenda, chatting with her sister-in-laws, Sug and Sue, and spoiling her dear pets, Angel, Buddy, and Junior. Helen was a proud American and loved her country. She was a lifetime fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Gram was one in a million and will be dearly missed.

Friends may visit on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 4 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m. at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, 3412 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville, IL 62223.
