Helen was a homemaker, but also worked several jobs throughout her life. She worked for Doctors Teagle and Prieb in Belleville, she was a county clerk at St. Clair County Courthouse, a teller at the National Stockyards Bank and a hospitality hostess at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Funeral Home in Belleville.
Helen loved cooking and baking for her family and friends and was well known for her dinner parties. She was a devout member of St. Peters Cathedral and would often invite church members to her home to cook for them.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Glenn Conley; parents, Louis and Ruby (nee Polite) Willard; daughter, Janet Sloan; son-in-law, Dennis Paule; three brothers: Lee, Forest and Harold Willard and four sisters: Frances Niles, Margaret Rhein, Doris Friedli and Nancee Buxton.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Stephen (Amy Schlosser) Conley; daughter, Nancee Paule; three grandchildren: Ryan Conley (mother Mary Whitford), Ross Sloan (father Nathan Sloan) and Erin Paule; two great-grandchildren, Kai and Cora; plus countless extended family and friends. Helen will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation will take place on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home.
