Dwight spent most of his career working for the Illinois State Lottery as a Regional Coordinator.
Dwight and Peggy met through mutual friends before marrying on June 24th, 1972. They started their life together in Belleville before settling in Freeburg and raising their girls. Through the years, Dwight took pride in yardwork, woodworking and other house projects for his family. He loved classic cars and enjoyed working on his Mustangs. Dwight and Peggy supported and cheered on their girls during years of sporting events and key milestones. He enjoyed making people smile and laugh with his jokes and sense of humor. Dwight and Peggy kept busy during retirement eating out with friends as well as spoiling and spending time with their grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his family and close friends.
Dwight’s wishes were that all services be private.
Memorials may be made in Dwight’s memory to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
