Donald T Davis Sr.

Don was a retired miner for Pea Body Coal Mine. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a member of the Fisherman Ambassadors.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, William T., and Nina, nee Beuttner Davis; a brother, Eugene (Ethel) Athmer and a sister, Bonnie Sigman.

Surviving are his loving and devoted wife, Joyce Davis, nee Lehman; children, Ronna (Roger) Blake, Wayne Davis, Neal (Debbie) Davis, Alan (Vicki) Davis and Donnie (Kim) Davis, Jr.; grandchildren, Rachael Sauerwein, Renee (Philip) Eckert, Rebecca Blake, Roger Blake, Jr., Ethan Bridges, Paige Bridges, Hannah Bridges, Cory Davis, Erik Ramsey, Brandi Ramsey and Sierra Davis; great grandchildren, Kaity Blake, Olivia Sauerwein, Savanna Sauerwein, Harley Blake, Preston Eckert and Eleanor Eckert; his twin sister, Audrey (Clem) Mudd and a brother in law, Robert Sigman, also, survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives, family and friends.

Funeral: A celebration of Don’s Life will be held at 1 pm on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois

Inurnment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.
