Dennis D Arras

He is preceded in death by his parents, Erwin L. and Eleanora M. (Hofstetter) Arras, and his wife, Phyllis L. (Hornbostel) Arras, whom he married on February 4, 1963 in Dupo, Illinois at Christ United Church of Christ.

Dennis is survived by daughters, Kimberly (Glenn) Holtmann of Germantown, Illinois, and Cynthia (Thomas) Wolf of Carlyle, Illinois, grandchildren, Scott (Fran) Holtmann, Kelly (Jake) Perez and Hannah (fiancé Allen Fair) Wolf. He is further survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. Arras was retired from Monsanto Agricultural Company in Creve Coeur, Missouri. He was a member of Union United Methodist Church, and also a member of the St. Clair County Anglers Association and the Moose Lodge #1221 in Belleville/Swansea, Illinois.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

Interment will follow in Valhalla Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and may be dropped off at the funeral home.
