Daniel E. Hill

preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Shirley Hill and his brother, Stephen T. Hill. Dan is survived

by his wife of nearly 21 years, Pam Hill; children, Megan (Josh) Darnell and Cory Hill; stepchildren, Dawn

Skidis (Corey Deitz), Becky (Bill) Myatt, and Nikki (Nick) Snyder; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren,

brothers, Ronald (Betty) Hill, Robert (Kathy) Hill, David Hill, Ken (Carol) Hill; sisters, Sherry (Bob) Doyle

and Theresa (Brent) Ellis; Pam Cox and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dan was a fun-loving man who was very active prior to his failing health. He enjoyed playing pranks on

people with his brothers and always kept everyone laughing. Dan enjoyed camping, float trips, and

barbequing. Dan enjoyed spending time with his family. The time he spent with his grandchildren helped

him to feel young again and he appreciated that time dearly. He would play cards with them—teasing

them about “cheating.” Dan was so patient and would let his grandson be the doctor while he adorned

him with band-aids and even duct tape! Those days of rides around the house on a dolly will always be

treasured.

Friends may visit on Monday, May 6, 2019 from 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. at Valhalla-

Gaerdner-Holten Funeral Home in Belleville. Memorials are appreciated to the Belleville Area Humane
