Barbara retired from Scott Air Force Base as a medical recorder after many years. She was an avid reader and talented seamstress. She enjoyed yard sales and her friends, but her greatest moments were those spent with family. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Jane, nee Rankin, McVey; her son, Paul Edward Brewer; her four brothers, Tommy McVey, Albert McVey, Ronald McVey and Bill McVey; and one sister, Levina Erwin.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Michell Brewer and Sheila (Dennis) Kirchhoff; three granddaughters, Amber, Alexis and Sarah; one great-grandson, Bryce; one great-grandbaby on the way; two sisters, Ellen Collier and Elizabeth Constantino; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
