Anna was preceded in death by her son, John F. Thompson, Jr.; parents, Waldo S. and Lucinda, nee Jones, Smith, Sr.; siblings, Waldo S. Smith, Jr. and Imogene Methenia.
Surviving are her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, John F. Thompson, Sr., who she married on September 19, 1954 in East St. Louis, Illinois; children, William L. Thompson, Florence M. Thompson and Edna E. Thompson; grandchildren, John Lewis, Sr., Derrick Lewis, Destinee Lewis, Amber Johnson, Christopher Aldinger, Lisa Thompson and Angela Thompson, 11 great grandchildren, daughter in law, Kathy Thompson; sister in law, Beverly Smith also, survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives, family and friends.
