She is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Cindy (Butz) Simmons of Freeburg, Illinois, son, Connor Simmons of Freeburg, Illinois, and one brother, Matt Simmons of Freeburg, Illinois. She is further survived by one nephew, Cole Beckett Simmons of Freeburg, Illinois, her grandmother, Karen (Rhodes) Mitchell of Freeburg, Illinois and a special friend, Lanny Eplin along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Amanda is preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Simmons, grandfather, Francis Butz and an uncle, Michael Butz.
During her lifetime Amanda worked at Master Finance in St. Louis, Missouri. She enjoyed playing games with family and friends and going to bingo. She also belonged to the Freeburg Women’s Community Club which she really liked being a part of.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.
