Sean Aaron Nelson passed away on June 28, 2019 at the age of 47 years old. Sean born in Miami, Florida had made Houston, Texas his home since 2009 when he moved to Houston to marry Heather. Sean was extremely proud to be a Texan.
He was predeceased by his Grandfather Milton Baren, Grandmother Gloria Hochberg and Grandfather Hy Hochberg, and his Aunt Rosebud Pyms Levy, He was also predeceased by father in law, Dr. Barry L. Horwitz, M.D., mother in law, Mrs. Helena Horwitz, Uncle, Dr. Melton “Buddy” Horwitz, M.D. and Aunt, Mrs. Ruthy Peskind and Uncle, Dr. Norman Guzick, M.D. He was also predeceased by his beloved family pet in Miami, Doberman Lucy.
Sean graduated from Florida International University in Miami, Florida, He graduated from Florida State University Law School in Tallahassee, Florida. He also graduated and obtained his Masters in Law L.L.M. at University of Houston Law Center in Energy, Environment and Natural Resources (EENR) Law. During his college years he traveled abroad to study in the Dutch countries which he enjoyed very much.
Sean was not only well educated but was an avid reader and brilliant in history and the military. He enjoyed Star Trek series and movies and Star Wars movies and science fiction including Dr. Who and many others. Sean also was a fan of the Astros, Texans football games. Florida Seminole’s and generally watching any fun sporting event or movie with Heather and their son.
While in Miami and Boca Raton Florida and Houston he worked as a litigation attorney. Sean was Licensed in both the Florida and Texas state Bars and a member of many bar associations.
Sean is survived by his beloved wife Heather Horwitz Nelson and their son, the love of his life, Jaxon Blake "J.B." Nelson. He is survived by their Havanese puppies Rico and Princess Nelson. He is also survived by his mother Mrs. Susan Rodriguez, step brother Nicky Rodriguez step sister Virginia, Aunt and Uncle, Mrs. Michelle Titus and Mr. Steven Titus, Aunt Joyce Cotulo, his Aunt, Mrs. Lorraine Horwitz, Uncle, Mr. Maurice Horwitz, Aunt, Mrs. Arlene "Happy" Guzick, and Uncle, Mr. Stanley Peskind. Sean is also survived by Aunt Anne Fayner, Uncle Jack Pyms and Aunt Bunnie and his Aunt Rachel Kreiger. In addition, Sean is survived by many many cousins in both Florida, Phoenix Arizona, Atlanta, Georgia and Texas.
He married his soulmate Heather on February 21, 2010 at The Houstonian Hotel. Sean met Heather in January 2009 and called her “Angel”. They had a long distance love that soon thereafter turned into engagement and Sean moving to Houston.
Sean adored and loved their first babies Rico and Princess their Havanese puppies who were loyal by his side.
But the love of his life was born on November 30, 2017, his son, Jaxon Blake “J.B.” Nelson who is the spitting image of his father. Sean’s love for his wife Heather and son JB and puppies was deep and true, he was a kind gentle loving man who showed his love outwardly. He was extremely proud of his son J.B. and played with him, ate meals with him, read to him, sang to him and loved on him constantly. Sean enjoyed music, reading and most of all being with his wife puppies and JB his baby boy.Jaxon Blake adored his daddy and had a special glowing bond with him that resonated throughout and will continue forever.
