On January 29, 2023, in Houston, Texas, Sally Elisabeth Dobkin Goldman z”l (born on March 13, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY), passed away peacefully at the age of 78. Sally was the soulmate and loving wife of 55 years to Dr. Neil Goldman; mother to Alec Harold, Noah Harley, and Adam Laurence; sister to Sidonie Dobkin; grandmother to Joel, Dylan, Eli, Asher and Camille, and friend to many people across the globe, especially in the New York City, Schenectady, NY, Santa Barbara, CA, Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, Norwalk, CT, Houston, TX, and The Woodlands, TX vicinities.
Sally was an avid reader and strong-willed individual who lived a full life and was filled with loving kindness, a quick sense of humor, and the desire to maintain a home that was warm and open to both family and friends.
A famous poem states “as long as we live, they too will live; for they are now a part of us; as we remember them.” Sally will remain a part of all who had the benefit of knowing her and will never be forgotten.
A funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Park-The Woodlands Cemetery, located at 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384.
