Robert Bosch, age 89, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011. He was born July 20, 1922 to the late Harry and Nettie Bosch in Salt Lake City, Utah. Robert graduated from Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah and attended Utah State University, where he played Varsity Football for 2 years. In 1942 he joined the Air Force and proudly served his country during WWII in the Pacific. Robert enjoyed volunteering with youth sports, as well as serving in local area politics. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Janell Bosch; brothers, Joseph and William Bosch. Robert is survived by his son, Robert Bosch, Jr. and his wife Jean; daughter, Sandy Kaller and her husband Tom; grandsons, Chris Bosch, Jay Bosch, Brian McCartney and his wife Danna, and Jeff Kaller; granddaughter, Kelly McCartney; sister, Betty Ray; cousin, Maxine Powell, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2011, with Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2011, both services at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.
