Mary Ann enjoyed a career as a devoted homemaker and mother. She and Herman first bought a new home in Southeast Houston and joined St. Peter the Apostle Church, where Mary Ann was very active in the Parish and School ministries. In 1964 the family moved to Southwest Houston area and became parishioners of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. They finished raising their family and enjoyed a long retirement and the company of the growing family of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
