Mary Elizabeth Compton

Beth was a devoted mother and housewife. She raised 4 children. She was definitely a southern belle growing up in Texas. She moved away from Texas with her husband, Mac to Georgia and Alabama and then eventually returned to her roots in Texas. Upon re-entering the workforce, Beth worked in the dental field as a dental assistant. She did this until she retired. Her greatest passions were her extended Schwarzbach family, her children and was an avid gardener.

Beth is survived by her children, Margaret, Helen, Dan and Mark. She is also survived by her brother John and her sister, Sister Scholastica as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.

A visitation will be held Monday, January 15, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 4525 Bissonnet Street, Bellaire, Texas, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A mass of christian burial will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel @ St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, Texas. Rite of committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 3502 N. Main St, Houston, Texas.
