Marion Margaret Bell entered eternal life on February 14, 2017, in Surprise, Arizona. Marion was born on April 24, 1921 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. She earned her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto and was a long time social worker for Catholic Charities in Houston.
Marion was preceded in death by her parents Robert Bell and Christy Anne, brother Angus Hugh (Robert) Bell, a fighter pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force, killed in action in WWII and by her sister Phyllis Bell, former assistant district attorney for Harris County. Marion is survived by her "adopted daughter" Telma Sánchez and numerous cousins in the USA and Canada.
Viewing and Rosary will be Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 9:00 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3617 Milam St, in Houston. Fr. Christopher Eggleton, O. P., Pastor and Fr. Isidore V. Vicente, O.P., Vicar, will be officiating with other Concelebrants. The Rite of Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
