Florentine R. Buk

Florentine Marie Buk died January 23, 2013. Born June 11, 1923 in Queens Village, New York to Joseph C. and Anna Werner Runkel. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 56 years, Martin F. Buk, Jr. She is survived by her daughter Loretta B. Elledge and her husband David, by her son Thomas M. Buk and by various nieces and nephews. Florentine was a loving wife and mother who also volunteered for various church, school and charitable organizations, usually in the role of librarian or office administrator.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, TX 77025 on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 10:00 am. Graveside service will be at Houston National Cemetery on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 9:00 am.
