Donald (Donnie) Gene McKuin, Jr., born January 26, 1959 in Houston, Texas went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2014. He is survived by his wife Jiang Bian (Beverly) McKuin; his parents, Donald Gene, Sr. and Wilma Atnip McKuin; one sister, Nancy McKuin Letbetter; one nephew and his wife, Daniel and Amanda Letbetter; and a host of other family members and friends.
Donnie lived in Houston all of his life. He attended Bellaire High School and after graduation worked in the family business, Don McKuin Electric Company, Inc. until the business was sold in 1985. Since then, he was employed by the Houston Chronicle. Donnie loved music and played keyboard and guitar in many local bands around Houston. He had been a member of Central Baptist Church in Bellaire, Texas since childhood.
Services will be held at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM.
