Donald Curtis Graham, 85, passed away March 26, 2018, in a Houston-area hospital. He was born October 1, 1932, in Haskell, TX to the late E.G. and Leora Graham. Curtis served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954. Curtis joined Shell Oil Company in 1968 and retired as a National Purchasing Manager in 1990 after 32 years of employment. His work with Shell carried him from Pampa, TX to Midland, and then to Houston in 1974.
Curtis married Nellwyn Conner in 1952 just before being sent overseas as part of his service in the Army. After returning from his overseas service, Curtis and Nellwyn had two children, Donna LaNell and Randy Curtis.
Curtis and Nellwyn faithfully served as members of Braeswood Assembly of God in Houston from 1974 until their passing. At Braeswood, Curtis served over the years as an usher, trustee and led the communion ministry.
Preceding Curtis in death was Nellwyn, his loving wife of 65 years, his parents, and his sister Juanita Brewer. Survivors include his sister Hilda Blackard of Levelland TX, his daughter Donna LaNell Lacy, son Randy C. Graham, and grandsons Andrew and Jeffrey Lacy, and Joshua, William and Thomas Graham.
