Bette Jean Lowe, 61, passed away August 15, 2014. During her early career she worked for Marathon LeTourneau for 8 years in Houston as an engineer and designed components of the Gorilla Class jack up rigs offshore. Her second career was with the Village of Palm Springs where for 18 years she was the Land Development Director and ran the planning, building and zoning departments. Bette was a Certified Building Official and AICP Planner. She also was a caregiver for her mom. Her hobby’s included landscaping, real estate, and golfing with her husband.
Bette is survived by her husband David Lowe; Sister, Dotti Harris, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her and whose lives she touched.
