Abbey Taylor

Abbey Marcia Taylor, aged 92, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2019. She was born January 30, 1927 in NYC, NY to Rose and David Stiber. She tragically lost her parents at the young age of 4 and lived 5 years in the orphanage “Pride of Judea”. At the age of 9, when her eldest sister turned 21, Abbey was allowed to move in with her 3 older sisters. They were known as the “Stiber Girls” living in an apartment together in the Bronx. Later she met the love of her life, Saul Taylor. They married May 7, 1947 and three years later they moved to Houston, TX. Abbey loved people and cared deeply for her family and friends. Her positive energy was contagious. Abbey is survived by her daughters Roni and Lori and son-in-law David, her 4 grandchildren Justin, André, Shahar and Margalit and her 2 great-grandchildren Ori and Zohar.
