William H. Bowen (Bill) passed away, after a long illness, on December 25, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Margaret (Pfeiffer) Bowen, his son William H. Bowen, Jr, wife Stacey (Parsons) Bowen and son Robert L. Bowen, wife Susan (Kramar) Bowen; five grandchildren; William P. Bowen and wife Juliet Bowen, Brittany Bowen, Katherine Holtzman and husband Matt Holtzman, Liz Bowen and husband Will Glovinsky, Robert Bowen; five great grandchildren and a sister Mary Jean (Bowen) Rose.
Due to the recent extreme rise of COVID 19 cases, there will be no viewing, and the funeral service and burial on January 3rd will be limited to family members.
In 1991 Bill retired as a Lieutenant in the Baltimore City Police Department, with 31 years of service. He was a member of Concordia Lodge #13, Scottish Rite of Maryland, and Baltimore Boumi Shriners. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Saint James Episcopal Church, 3100 Monkton Rd., Monkton, Maryland 21111.
