Walter attended Calvert Hall High and entered the Navy. He served on the USS Chuckawan. After his military service he started his career with the Federal Government.
Walt was the loving husband of 61 years to the late Vera Cushing Patrick. He was her King and she was his Queen. He was the cherished father of Deborah Patrick, Gail Pridgeon and her husband Chuck, Kate Przybylski and her husband Dave, devoted grandfather of Jason, Brad, Ryan and Danny and beloved great grandfather of Karalee. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Peters.
Walt was devoted to his family. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved doing card tricks, playing pinochle and walking at the mall with his friends. His greatest pleasure was singing karaoke and dancing with his dear friend, Annie Pace

Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc. 610 W. MacPhail Rd. Bel Air, MD 21014 on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM where the funeral service will be held on Monday at 12 Noon. Interment Parkwood Cemetery.
