Stanley Arthur Lynch Jr.

Stanley Arthur Lynch Jr., 77, of Essex, MD, passed away early morning on November 8th, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Sandra Joan Lynch (Shearer) for 40 years, a devoted father, loving grandfather, dear brother, and cherished friend.

Stanley is survived by his wife Sandra Joan Lynch (Shearer), father to Tina Marie Yori, and her husband Victor, Stanley Arthur Lynch III, and his wife Jennifer "Dawn", Kelly Bryan Godwin, and his wife Shannon, and Franklin D.R. Godwin, loving grandfather of Melvin Stinchcomb, Matthew Stinchcomb, Alyssa Stinchcomb and her fiancé, Kobe Leppo, Julie Yori and her fiancé Christopher Ortiz, Tiffany Brown, and her husband Michael, Hannah Aileen Godwin, and Clayton Godwin, dear brother of Donna Dixon, and her husband William, cherished brother-in-law of Danny Shearer. Also survived by many loving great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.

He served in the Maryland National Guard with dedication for 30 years, a testament to his commitment to duty and service.

A man of many passions, Stanley found joy in woodworking, bowling, and watching NASCAR, Ravens, and the Orioles. However, his greatest love was undeniably spending time with his family and friends, creating cherished memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather in remembrance at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, 610 W MacPhail Road, Bel Air, MD 21214, on Friday, November 17, 2023. Visitation hours will be from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by an Honorary Military Service at 6:00 PM, honoring Stanley's three decades of service in the Maryland National Guard.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorable donations be made in Stanley's name to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org. Your contributions will help support the fight against diabetes, a cause close to Stanley's heart.
