Sallee resided in Harford County, Maryland for most of her life. Born in 1942, she was the daughter of Peter and Helen Leavy. She planted firm roots and prided herself on the family and life that she created. She passed away on May 31, 2021.
Sallee made her living in radio, a career marked with successes and achievements. A well-known psychic in the Baltimore-Washington area for many years, Sallee had several different radio shows, was a guest on People Are Talking, worked for NBC, wrote a syndicated column, and ran her own private practice. However, all of these achievements paled in comparison to the roles she valued most: being a mother, grandmother, wife, and sister.
Sallee enjoyed spending time at the beach and conducting business. She found a love for real estate, and her intuition was always correct. Sallee was a “dog person”. She loved her animals as much as they loved her. Sallee found so much happiness and peace under a heated throw blanket with her beloved pet.
Sallee is survived by her husband, Rick; her brother, Pete; her children, Scott, Seth, Ricky, and Melanie; her grandchildren, Rachel, Mason, and Gavin; and her great-grandchildren, Coraline and Gemma.
A wake will be held to honor and celebrate Sallee’s life and achievements at a later date.
