On December 8, 2023 Rose Louise Scelsi (nee Horton), age 94, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter and son-in-law. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Scelsi; devoted and loving mother of Kathryn Kight and her husband William, Margaret Wielepski and her husband Russell, Michael Scelsi and his wife Sharon, the late Patricia Trzeciak and her surviving husband Thomas; cherished grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 16; dear sister of Antionette Manger and sister-in-law of MaryLou Goetz. She was preceded in death by her brother Bernard Horton, sisters, Mary Steed, Jane Bujanowski, and Alice Poirier.
A visitation for Rose Louise will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Schimunek Funeral Home, 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens, 5598 Trumps Mill Road, Baltimore, MD 21206.
