Robert C. Horn, Sr., age 81, of Selbyville, DE passed away peacefully after a long battle with a rare form of cancer on Friday, March 30, 2018. He was born in Baltimore, MD and was the son of the late George W. and Margaret (Neal) Horn.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret J. Horn of Selbyville; his son, Robert C. Horn Jr. and wife, JoAnn; his daughter, Robin M. Ortiz and husband, Ricardo; his brother, Jerry Horn, Sr. and wife, Janet; three grandchildren, Courtney Ortiz, Hunter Horn and Robert C. Horn III and wife, Stephanie; and a great-grandson, Robert C. Horn IV; as well as many beloved friends and family members.
He was preceded in death by his brother and sister, George Horn and Peggy (Horn) DiRocco.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank all of the efforts of Johns Hopkins Hospital and Dr. Mark J. Levis for his years of dedication to his care. We are forever grateful.
Receiving of family and friends will be from 10 am to 1 pm with a Memorial Service starting at 11:30 am at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc. 610 W. MacPhail Rd. Bel Air, MD 21014 on Sat. April 14.
