Mr. Richard Howard Norwood, Sr. lived a wonderful life.  It is very important to celebrate and to cherish the many happy memories that your family has shared together.   We don't know what to say.  We can't understand exactly how you feel, but God does and will keep raising you up.  We hope that our prayers will help a little.  May God sustain you at this time of such great loss.   Now, lets search the scriptures for a wonderful thought.  One reads like this.  "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."  John 5:28,29

I am honored do you have known Dick Norwood. I used to see him when he worked at the car dealer on Route 7  in white marsh .

Papa Dick was there to support Mackenzie playing her favorite sport.  We will miss those weekly calls on how she played and her team! He always had the best words of encouragement!!

Hard to do anything but smile around this man.

I think about all the years that Dick & I worked together at Schaefer & Strohminger. He was not only a fellow employee and a good friend, he was like family to me. I cherish all the memories. My heart broke when I heard he is no longer with us. We will hold him in our hearts. He is in the arms of the angels and no longer in pain. My thoughts and prayers to all of his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss Zonda and family. Dick was such a kind and friendly person. I will always cherish the times he had visited all of us at Skylight. He will be greatly missed.

I was so lucky to work with Dick for a few years as that allowed me to have to share Dick with his family.  I had him for the half of his day when I was able to see him in action yelling, smiling, eating, drinking his Gator Aid and his AM OJ.  No matter what he did he was one of the best friends I had, and I wish I had just spent more time with him after we stopped working together.  My love and prayers to you Wendy. 

I didn't have any brothers.  Then when I met Linda, I gained 4 wonderful ones. Dick was not only a brother-in-law to me, he was a brother and a friend with the biggest caring heart, ever.  
I will miss our times together.  
Even though your chair will be empty, now, I know that you will be looking down on us and making us smile and laugh.  I will NEVER forget your laugh or love, and will cherish every memory since you came into my life 32 years ago.
Sending heart healing energy to Zonda, Lee, and every one who was fortunate enough to have King Dick in their lives.

I could go on for hours talking about all the time we spent together both at work and socially. I was honored that he made me feel like I was part of his family. It is like losing another brother.  I am sure Dick, Johnny and Bulldog already have a card game going. The world is less of a kind loving and fun place without Dick in it. 

Definitely one of the good guys! You made a huge mark on this world and will truly be missed!!

I never questioned if I was loved, you wore your heart on your sleeve. I will miss all the tears of pride shed at our family gathering.
