Paul Johann Sunder

On June 13, 2013 Paul Johann Sunder passed away after a long battle with metastatic colon cancer. He loved Afghan hounds and was a staunch supporter of raising and showing these majestic animals. Never one to seek the limelight, Paul was a "behind the scenes" kind of guy. Paul was an avid reader, a Vietnam Vet, member of the NRA, VFW and American Legion and the Blues Society. He enjoyed concerts, ocean city and music of all genres and enjoyed movies of all time periods. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Powers) Sunder for 36 years; cherished son of the late Paul H. Sunder and Elfriede (nee Hermann) Sunder. He was the dear brother of the late Robert "Bobby" Sunder and is also survived by his cousins Hanelore Crane of Corpus Christi, Texas and Peter Hub of Germany. He is also survived by many loving extended family member and friends.

Relatives and friends may gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 West MacPhail Rd. (at Rte. 24) on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at which time a memorial service will be held. Inurnment to follow with Military honors at the Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
