Paul Scott Roberts, age 55, of Baltimore, Maryland passed away Wednesday May 18, 2022. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on Father’s Day June 19th, 1966 to James Oliver Roberts and Mary Patricia Hopkins-Roberts.
Paul began working for the State of Maryland Park Service as a seasonal employee as a teenager, after completing high school he went on to study Recreation and Parks. Upon graduation, he took pride in becoming a Maryland Park Ranger. Paul also worked as a reenactor, safety arms instructor, and a canoe instructor. He spent his entire career working for the Maryland Park Service and retired in 2013.
In 1986 Paul married his highschool sweetheart, Teresa Marie Roberts. They were married for 34 years and share two children; Ashley Michelle Augustine and Dylan Andrew Roberts.
Paul spent his retirement traveling the country in his fifth wheel RV. During his travels Paul often took volunteer positions in various National and State Parks, including Volunteer Law Enforcement in Custer State Park, South Dakota.
He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, hiking, fishing and sightseeing. He even summited the tallest mountain in Ecuador. Paul was cheerful and well liked, he made friends easily and kept friendships over decades. He was extremely handy and enjoyed restoration and home improvement projects. He had rebuilt and worked on multiple vehicles, and was always ready to lend a helping hand when there was a project to complete. He recently helped his daughter Ashley with a Kitchen renovation to her first home.
Paul was adored by his 4 Grandchildren; Riley Michelle Augustine, Charlotte Marie Augustine, Wesley Scott Augustine, Coraline Virginia Gonzalez, and two step Grandchildren Zayn Alec Petropolous, and Dulce Gonzalez.
He has joined his Parents and late sister Susan Coltrider. He is survived by three siblings Melanie Shanty, Amy Brocious-Dedea and Brother Jason Roberts.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc. (610 W.
