Niki was born on November 12, 1964 in Yokosuka, Japan to her parents, Larry Lutz of Lexington Park, MD and Ann Economidy of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The second child of the couple, Niko’s name is unique in that her name in Japanese literally means “second child”. She married John Friscia on March 20, 1993. The Friscia’s moved around quite a bit as John’s career demanded while working for United States Gypsum Company. Niki worked as a respiratory therapist before going back to school for her nursing degree where she graduated in 2002 from the County College of Morris in New Jersey with an AS degree in Nursing. Niki was employed at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center for the last 13 years working in the Emergency Department.
Niki loved their two children, Jack, 9, and Lauren, 8, with her whole heart. An animal lover, she always had a dog companion with her. A devout Christian, she could debate any subject you threw at her and her faith in the Lord guiding her answers.
In addition to her husband, parents, and children, Niki is survived by her sisters Lori Lukinovich, Covington, LA, Sarah Economidy, Tucson, AZ, Merry Lutz, Falls Church, VA, Gaby Lutz, San Diego, CA, Rachael Nolden, Lexington Park, MD and her brother, Trey Economidy, Tuscan, AZ.
